Introduction
Lockout Tagout devices provide physical control of hazardous energy by securing energy isolation points and preventing unintended start-up or re-energisation while work is being performed.
Selecting the correct device for each isolation point is essential. Hardware must be durable, clearly identifiable, suitable for the specific energy source and equipment configuration, and maintained in a functional condition throughout its service life.
